Before you call
Four things that make the conversation faster
- What the goods are, in plain terms, and what they are made of.
- Where they are coming from and where they need to go, including the delivery postcode.
- How much there is — cartons, pallets, weight, and volume or dimensions if you have them.
- When it is ready and when you need it. If there is a hard deadline, say so first.
Do not have all of it? Call anyway. Working out the gaps is part of the job.
